Privacy Policy

Provisional notice, not a substitute for legal review. This page describes the current situation in plain language while the legal text is still being worked out.

Genara has not officially launched yet, so there is no finished privacy policy yet either. This page honestly describes what data the application processes today.

What we store when you sign up

  • Your email address, first name and last name.
  • Your chosen username.
  • Your password — stored only as a one-way hash, never in plain text; we cannot read it back.
  • Optional profile answers if you fill them in: job role, favorite programming language, experience level, favorite tech stack, and how you heard about us.

What we store while you use the product

Everything you create — projects, services, endpoints, data types, and similar content — is stored so the application can show it back to you. A session cookie keeps you signed in between requests.

Your data can be deleted at any time

Because this is a pre-launch environment, any of the data above can be deleted at any time, without prior notice, as we continue building this out.

Who sees this data

Your data is used to run the application for you. We do not sell it, and we are not using it for advertising.

What this is not

This page is not legal advice and does not replace a proper privacy policy under GDPR or any other law. A full policy will replace it once we publish a reviewed version.
